A packraft is an inflatable, ultra-light, and highly durable raft similar to a kayak. This model is the best choice for pairs seeking a smooth and fast ride, perfect for longer journeys. The Barracuda R2 offers ample legroom for both the front and back passengers, making it ideal for two adult paddlers, although it can also be paddled solo if necessary.
Dimensions:
- Length: Approximately 3.6 meters, making it the largest and fastest model among MRS packrafts. The streamlined shapes of the bow and stern enhance its sleekness, and the fin attached to the stern further improves directional stability.
- Weight: 5.10 kg, with a carrying capacity of up to 329 kg.
The packraft can be transported in a backpack, on top of a hiking pack, or in a car. Inflation and deflation are incredibly quick with the included battery-powered mini pump, taking about 5 minutes to set up.
Packraft is perfect to explore Inari lake, Ivaloriver Kaldoaivi or Vätsäri wilderness areas.
