Want to go canoeing in Saariselkä? Now you can book a self-guided trip to Tankajoki from us!
The price includes:
- Canoe and paddle vests for two people (+1 child, please ensure the suitability of the vests in advance)
- Transportation from Saariselka to Tankajoki and pick-up after the trip (includes 2 people)
- Equipment usage instructions at the beginning of the trip
Route description: Tankariver is suitable for beginners, families, and those seeking tranquility, taking you through the forest landscapes of Lapland. Canoeing in Saariselkä and the beautiful nature of Lapland is a great combination for a summer day! The total duration of the trip with travel time is approximately 6 hours (canoeing 4 hours depending on breaks, canoeing distance 17 km). The river is shallow and winding. There are no organized camping facilities along the way, but there are good spots for taking breaks. Note! All participants must be able to swim. The canoeing trip is self-guided, meaning a guide is not included.
For an additional fee, you can also swap the canoe for two packrafts depending on availability!
